InstantHMI Recipes & Configuration

Tap on Define Recipes button to define new recipes. Select the desired recipe from the pull down list to preview the tag names and values in the scrollable table. Tap on editable value fields to make any changes you want for the tag parameters. The Upload and Dnload buttons to transfer the selected recipe tag values to/from the corresponding registers in the controller are disabled in this tool. Tap on Save button to save the edited recipe under same or new name.

Tap 'New Recipe'  button to create a new recipe,  'Del Recipe' button to delete any selected recipe, and 'Remove Tag' button to remove the selected tag from the recipe definition. Tap on 'Add Tag' button to add a new tag to the recipe definition. The 'Tag Positioning Bar' with Top/Up/Down/Bottom arrow controls allows visual re-ordering of tags within a recipe definition.

The Current Configuration reflects the parameters in the controller. On this screen you can select any saved configuration (using the pull-down arrow at the top) and review the associated configuration parameters listed in the table. To modify a parameter value tap on it and enter the new value. Tap on Restore button to restore the configuration back to the same or a different controller. Tap on Compare button to compare any two selected configurations.  Tap on Menu to see the Configuration popup dialog.

If the two configurations CFG 1 and CFG 2 do not match then you will see the number of mismatched tags. Select any mismatched tag (Example: Temp Units) from the pull down list to review the associated tag values (Example: deg F vs. deg C). Tap on  Match Cfg1 button to set a specific tag value from CFG 1 equal to that for CFG 2 or tap on CFG2 tag value field to enter a new value. (You will not be allowed to modify tag values of the 'Current Configuration' in the controller.).
