The InstantHMI Tag Manager allows for quick and easy creation and editing of tags (controller data).  Using the Tag Manager you can setup tags to monitor (or Data Log) relevant process information from your controller.

Tag Editor allows you to create a new tag or edit any selected tag from the tag database. Here you can specify tag parameters such as Tag Name, Memory Type, Address, Sample Times, Data Format etc. Tap on the 'More...' button to set additional tag parameters such as Low/High End Value and Message Group. 

Additional tag parameters such as Low and High End Value may be entered here (for graphs or graphical tags). Also you may assign a Message Group to a tag with the Data Format 'Message' to translate numeric values into meaningful text messages.

The tags in a tag database can be assigned to various tag groups using the Tag Group Definitions. Tap 'New Group' to define a new tag group, 'Del Group' to delete the selected tag group, 'Add Tag' to add tags to the tag group, and 'Remove Tag' to remove tags from the tag group. The 'Tag Positioning Bar' with Top/Up/Down/Bottom arrow controls allows visual re-ordering of tags within a group.
